Simon Vadhanasin, the eldest son of Danish Consul Tove Andersen and Preeda Vadhanasin, tragically passed away in a traffic accident this weekend. He was 24 years.
Thai style memorial services are held every evening at Wat Thepsirin, Sala 8, until the end of this week starting at 20.00. On Wednesday night, the services will be hosted by the Royal Danish Embassy.
Our deepest sympathies and condolences goes out to Tove, Preeda and Simon's younger brother Allan.

Correction re. Simon Vadhanasin Service
Thai style memorial services for Simon Vadhanasin as announced in previous email will start at 19.00 at Wat Thesirin. The rites have furthermore been moved to Sala 4 which is a more spacious Sala within the temple.
On Wednesday night, the services will be hosted by the Royal Danish Embassy.

Memorial praying rites are held at Wat Thepsirin at Sala 4 on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening at 19:00 hours. It is expected that mourners arrive at least 15 minutes before.
The Cremation will be held on Thursday 29 May 2008 at 17:00 hours.
