Bar Baska, the Danish restaurant owned by Erik Winther will be permanently closed down this Sunday on February 25, due to a financial problem.
Erik Winther is a Danish Chef in Bangkok. He opened Bar Baska at the end of 2005 and wanted to make it an international meeting place for Scandinavian people and others with a comfortable environment.
Right now he is busy with closing down the business and trying to sell over the restaurant.
“There’s no more money and I have to do what I have to do,” says Erik.
He will continue to stay in Thailand and still have no plans for the next step.
“I have been living here for over 30 years; I don’t think I’ll be going anywhere.”
There will be no closing party however everyone is most welcome to come and enjoy the food on the very last night of Bar Baska.
